Palm Pre Plus

The Palm Pre Plus phone gives you what you need for work life, personal life, and everything in between. You get it all a large, touchscreen along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard in an elegant design. With always-up-to-date contacts and calendars, your favorite websites and apps, and even 3D games, it’s a phone for you.

Palm has really done it this time. Their WebOS is amazing. I never ever experienced Multi-tasking as perfect as it is on thre palm. Its really easy to use, even for beginners, and really fast. There is absolutely no flaw behind this system.

As far as apps go, there are nearly 3000 native apps available for it and more coming fast! Its not as many as the iPhone catalog. Not to mention you can buy motionApps Classic and run all the old PalmOS Software, making the library really compete with the iPhone. And even though there arent as many “new” apps as the iPhone, there are tons of patches, updates and software and games that do EVERYTHING you need good enough.

The Live syncing is Great. All you do is put in your email address and/or facebook login and it does it all for you… It syncs all your calendars automatically. It syncs all your contacts automatically. And it syncs your inbox automatically.

Putting this with the multi-tasking system makes doing business and mixing in pleasure a snap. The closest phone that matches this, I will say, is the iPhone. But the Pre is far superior in this aspect than the iPhone.

Jazz HD 720p Digital Camcorder Review

Jazz HD 720p Digital Camcorder Can record at full 720P resolution with 4x digital zoom, when recording out doors the Jazz seem to record quite nice, but when recording indoors the Jazz has a built in cam light witch does not help, recorded  projects are dark and unable to view at times.

The Jazz comes with its own multimedia software and i’ve found the software to work really good. The Jazz is a really simple to use camcorder if you are a newbie in the market for a starter camcorder.
For $49 you cant beat that price for a great starter camcorder

          Motorola Cliq XT with MOTOBLUR

(credit:T-Mobile) click image to get yours today

The Motorola Cliq XT with MOTOBLUR for T-Mobile is an Android 1.5 smartphone featuring MOTOBLUR. Intuitive and customizable, MOTOBLUR syncs personal, work and social network contacts, and provides easy access to the information you want – whether it is a friend’s status feed or the weather. And with MOTOBLUR, you only need to update your status once, and the Cliq will push your update to all your social networks at once. The touch screen Cliq XT smartphone comes pre-loaded with all your favorite Google apps including YouTube, GTalk, Google Maps and more. Thousands of apps, many free, are available to download from the Android Market to further customize the Cliq XT. Photo Sharing apps are also pre-installed, to make it easy to record videos and snap photos with the advanced 5 megapixel camera/ camcorder and share your favorites online or via multimedia messaging. The Cliq XT features the newest predictive text technology, SWYPE.

The Cliq XT’s keyboard uses Swype, a feature that is quickly taking over full touchscreen phones (Swype can also be found on the Samsung Omnia II and the new T-Mobile myTouch 3G). Using Swype requires a bit of practice; but once you get the hang of it, it’s a useful alternative to tap typing. Swype technology lets you type faster and more easily with a continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard.

But Motorola tweaked the Cliq XT’s keyboard, spacing the keys out and making them a bit wider for easier, more-accurate pressing. In addition, haptic feedback helps make the keyboard feel more natural in your hand. You also get a nice visual confirmation of your keystrokes via magnified versions of the letters that you press (as with the iPhone’s keyboard). My one gripe is that the keyboard felt a bit slow, introducing a slight delay between when I typed and when it appeared on the display.

BlackBerry Curve 8310 (RED) Is Making Big Waves

(credit: AT&T) click image to get yours today

The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is a slim and lightweight phone. In elegant red color and with all the right curves, it is really a neat PDA-style piece that easily fits into your pocket (4.2 in x 2.4 in x 0.6 in). In fact, at 3.9 oz it is the lightest BlackBerry phone. The QWERTY keypad (full back lit) comes with an integrated and really handy spell checker that helps you prevent spelling mistakes.

The BlackBerry Curve screen appears to be the same 2.5 inch color screen (TFT type) with 320×240 screen that is found on the older 8700. It’s outstanding and flat out huge. There are various levels of backlighting and there is a handy auto-DIM feature that adjusts the backlight according to room lighting conditions.

The Curve rollerball took a little getting used to, but after less than a day, you can be an expert. It also has a on/off feature that was supposed to simulate the audible “click” you would get from the old wheel.

Spell-Check; a warm welcome to something that has been missing for a LONG time. It’s also super-easy to use. You get a prompt right before you send an email asking to approve typos. Great job BlackBerry!

The multimedia software is excellent; both on the device and on the desktop. You can watch movies, listen to MP3s and check out your photos on the handset. The Roxio-powered Media Manager software for the desktop offers super-easy drag and drop of MP3s and movies. It even converts files on the fly which work with the Curve.

This is one of the best additions to BlackBerry. The easy to use interface really turns this into a multimedia device.

The camera is pretty awesome. The LED flash is very bright and allows for a decent photo in low light. Full Screen view finder is a nice plus. There is even a little mirror on the back for self portraits.
3.5mm Stereo/Audio Jack is built-in. No adapter needed. Kudos BlackBerry! Just plug your ear buds in and your in audio bliss.

The Curve’s GPS TeleNav software. The turn-by-turn directions rival standalone navigation systems.
